Hall effect on energy decay in MHD turbulence

The Hall effect, correction to Ohm’s law, on the energy decay of MHD turbulence is studied by using high-resolution numerical simulations, and the energy decay law with t–1 exponent is derived for the case of small or zero magnetic helicity.
