When a cutting tool (130) reaches a cutting tool machining stop position on a workpiece (W) in a machining feeding direction (Z axis direction), the amplitude control means (C1) reduces the amplitude of reciprocal oscillation by an oscillation means (160) in accordance with a feeding operation in the machining feeding direction. Due to this configuration, the problem where the cutting tool (130) cuts beyond the predetermined cutting tool machining stop position is avoided.
