Predicting System of Harvest Time and Yield of Tomato

Komastu, Ishikawa is known as a great tomato-growing district which about fifty tomato farmers have produced about one thousand and five hundred tons of tomatoes in a year. However, sometimes they have to sell tomatoes with lower price because the amount of needs is already limited. On this research, we are making a system which can calculate harvest days and yield of tomatoes based on a study using temperature forecast from National Agriculture and Food Research Organization, and measured temperature from temperature sensors of the field server. With this system farmers can adjust the production of tomato by looking at the market, so farmers can consider strategies for selling high. It enables high-profit management of tomato farmers.
