Modeling of Human Airways CAD model Using CT Scan Data

Abstract Present study describes a systematic process involved in the preparation of a suitable lung airway model using MIMICS 20.0 software. The CAD model can be prepared using manual, automatic and semi-automatic process. The current model in this study is extracted from the CT scan data of the Thoracic region through semi-automatic process available in materialize imaging software MIMICS. The study will be beneficial to pulmonologist to obtain maximum deposition efficiency of the aerosol drug into the lungs
