Determination and analysis of mineral elements of mung bean

By wet digestion procedure with HNO3/H2O2 to prepare samples,the mineral elements in mung bean from north areas of Shaanxi were completely analyzed by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer(ICP-OES) . The results showed there were 15 mineral elements in mung bean. They were K,P,Mg,Ca,Si,Fe,Al,Na,Zn,B,Mn,Cu,Sr,V and Ba. The RSD of the determining result was between 0.48% and 5.38%. The recovery rate was between 91.9% and 108.4%. The method can be used to analyze multi-elements in the same time,simple,rapid and credible so that fulfill the analysis of actual samples. These results provided some reference in relative research of mung bean.
