Power electronic interfaces are introduced, including inverter and its typical control system, three choppers, system integrations of PV, storage units, flywheel, and wind generation. Three-phase inverter plays an essential role in integrating DERs to the AC network, so it is introduced in detail including two types of dq0 transformations, phase lock loop, double loop controller, and PWM generator. For the chopper units, boost chopper, buck chopper, and buck-boost chopper are introduced and analyzed, respectively. Single stage integration and two-stage integration are discussed for connecting the PV to the AC network. Constant current, constant voltage and their combination are introduced to charge battery and supercapacitor. The integration of microturbine is demonstrated with time-domain simulations. The typical vector control is presented for controlled the DFIG.
