The early stage of finger clubing is often overlooked because of its ambiguity as “hard” sign on clinical examination. A technique to diagnose clubing wih confidence will be valuble for clinicians. To propose the new device as a clinical diagnostic tool for digital clubbing. An investigation was conducted on healthy subjects. Forty four medical students of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak The length of time to find Digital Index: 35.97 minutes (Range: 21.93 to 68.80 minutes). Inter-rater vatiation of Digital Index and intra-rater variation of hyponychial and profile angle were small, with a Pearson’s correlation coefficient of R = 0.966; R=0.979 and R = 954, respectively.
