High Power Radiators for Electromagnetic Waves of Video-Pulses and Singularities at Propagation of Them

2007
The high power ultra wide-band (UWB) radiators for the electromagnetic video-pulses built as assemblies by radiating modules. Each module is contained the UWB radiating antenna of a TEM-horn type and the high voltage up to 50 kV sub-nanosecond pulse power semiconductor generator and synchronizing unit. For achievement of electromagnetic compatibility of the high power radiating modules with the triggering and controlled systems we applied following methods: matching loads, ferrite rings, series shielding, etc. We have used experimental and computer modeling methods to investigate some singularities at propagation of the electromagnetic video-pulses.
