Information System Development of Tobacco Ecology Suitability Evaluation and Planting Division in Henan Province

Based on building database of tobacco ecological environment in Henan province,the information system of tobacco ecological suitability and planting division was developed by using advanced 3S technology,database technology and computer simulation models,which provides functions of drawing of visualization,inquiry,editing and display.Using Visual Basic 6.0 as developing tool,the system employs Access database to control non-spatial data,and adopts Mapobjects to control spatial data,thus realizing the integration management of spatial data and non-spatial data.The system can provide the scientific evidences and decision making supports for tobacco planting division and adjustment of agriculture structure.
