A Binary Differential Evolution Approach to Extract Business Process Models

Process discovery techniques discover structured information in the form of business process models. A process model depicts the real workflow of a business and provides insights into the organizational processes for improving these processes and their support systems. The paper presents a single-objective binary differential evolution approach for process mining. We compared the proposed approach with the state-of-the-art algorithms and observed that the proposed approach outperforms other approaches.
