Solubility of krypton in solutions of potassium bromide and tetra-n-butylammonium in isotopomers of methanol at various temperatures
2004
The solubility of krypton in solutions of KBr and n-Bu 4 NBr in CH 3 OH, CH 3 OD, and CD 3 OH (isotopomers of methanol) at a partial gas pressure of 101325 Pa, various concentrations of the solutes, and temperatures of 278, 288, 298, 308, and 318 K was studied using microgasometry. Based on the solubility data obtained, the Sechenov salt effect standard coefficients and the thermodynamic parameters of the Kr-electrolyte pair interaction were examined within the framework of the Ben-Naim and McMillan-Mayer theories.
