Study on Inclusion Complexes of β-Cyclodextrin with Triton X-100

The inclusion complexation of β-CD with TritonX-100 was studied by fluorescence and 1H NMR measurements.The experimental results indicate that the stoichiometry is 1:1 for the inclusion complexation.Apparent formation constant was estimated to be(3.04±0.22)×104 L /mol.The hydrophobic moiety of Triton X-100 was incorporated into the cavity of β-CD.
