Optimization and Effect of Power Parameters of Low-Frequency Superposition

In order to solve problems that the parameters of low-frequency superposition have an effect on measuring accuracy of insulation resistance, through theoretical analysis and the verification of a large of simulating experiments, it deeply studied the relationship between the power parameters and measuring accuracy of the cable insulation or fault selection of low-frequency superposition. Then it did the experiment and simulation considering the amplitude and frequency of power, it verified the relationship between them. The results showed that at a certain frequency, resistance current components and measuring accuracy will be gradually increased with the reduction of power amplitude. Under a certain voltage, measuring accuracy cable insulation is increased and the frequency superposition method will have a better fault selectivity while the power frequency decreases.
