Estudio de la presencia de la Geología en currículos oficiales autonómicos de Educación Primaria

espanolEl trabajo analiza los contenidos relacionados con las Ciencias de la Tierra presentes en curriculos oficiales autonomicos de Educacion Primaria. Se pretende conocer si la presencia de estos contenidos y su secuenciacion son coherentes con los principios de la alfabetizacion en Ciencias de la Tierra. Tambien si reflejan las grandes ideas en Ciencias de la Tierra (sus planteamientos basicos), los conceptos que las sustentan o la base conceptual que servira para etapas educativas posteriores. A partir de los resultados se realizan una serie de recomendaciones y sugerencias dirigidas a responsables de confeccionar los textos normativos y a autores de libros de texto para que los contenidos sobre Ciencias de la Tierra tengan una presencia mas evidente. Asimismo, se busca orientar a los maestros en ejercicio y a los maestros en formacion en la ensenanza de las Ciencias de la Tierra EnglishThe contents of the regional official curricula of Primary Education related to Earth Sciences are analyzed in this paper. The main aims are: 1) to find out if the presence of these contents and their sequencing and development are consistent with the principles of literacy in Earth sciences. 2) to check if they reflect, depending on the corresponding level, the great ideas in Earth science (its basic approaches), the concepts that support them or the conceptual basis that will serve for later educational stages. Based on the results, a series of recommendations and suggestions are made to those responsible for setting up the legal texts related to the curricula and to the authors of textbooks, so that the Earth Sciences may have a more visible presence. Also, it seeks to guide in-service teachers and teachers in training in contents related to the Earth Sciences
