ANALYSIS OF CROSS-BORDER POLLUTION CAUSED BY POWER PLANTS ISALNITA AND TURCENI

Burning coal in conventional power plants has a negative impact on the environment by emissions of pollutants: SO2, NO2, CO, ash. Emissions of power stations are carried by wind and reach the territory of neighboring countries. This paper presents an analysis of transboundary pollution due to operation of power plants Isalniţa and Turceni.
