Education on Conceptual Modeling for Simulation - Beyond the Craft: A Summary of a Recent Expert Panel Discussion

Until a few years ago, conceptual modeling (CM) for simulation received little attention within the Modeling and Simulation (MS by the first book to provide a comprehensive view of the current state-of-the–art in CM written by an interest group (Robinson et al. 2010); and in dedicated sessions at conferences (for example, the Winter Simulation Conference 2006-2008, 2010, and the OR Society Simulation Workshop 2006-2010).
