Research on Optimal Cold-Formed Thin-Wall Steel Purlin

As a type of effective and economical sectional material,cold-formed thin-wall steel has been applied in many areas. Due to its high load-bearing capacity,good stress performance,it could economize material,lighten component weight and yield good economic returns. It carved out a new approach not only by increasing material quantity or improving material identity but also by optimizing the section form to improve material utilization. Illustrated by the 200 high Z-shaped section,this disquisition discussed the way educing an optimized section compared by the performance of depth,thickness,lip,lip angle and appling in practical projects. As a result,it could drop construction cost,save material,and economize resource.
