Design and implementation of comfort and stability measuring device for trains

In order to measure the comfort and stability of high-speed trains in real-time,a measuring device has been designed and implemented for this with the EPC-8000I-L embedded industrial control main board and Linux real-time operating system according to the requirements of standard UIC513 and GB 5595-1985.It has friendly graphical user interface,excellent realtime ability,and good portability.The paper mainly discussed the hardware structure,the graphical user interface,the data processing method and the new algorithm designed to increase the real-time capability.The original vibration acceleration signals acquired by the testing device are transmitted to the computer to be calculated.And the calculated and the measured results are compared and analyzed,which demonstrates that the testing apparatus can precisely measure the comfort and stability of the trains in real-time.
