The specific heats of GdCl3, GdBr3, and GdI3 at low temperatures

The specific heats of GdCl3, GdBr3, and GdI3 were measured in the temperature ranges from 1.3° to 4.4° K, from 1.3° to 5.7° K, and from 1.5° to 5.7° K, respectively. Each of these salts was found to have a magnetic transition at low temperatures.
