Kajian Penggunaan Rice Milling Unit (RRMU) Keliling terhadap Mutu Beras yang Dihasilkan

A study on the use of mobile rice milling unit (RMU) against the quality of rice produced had been done by Yogyakarta Assessment Institute for Agricultural Technology (AIAT) in the year 2006 at the area of Jetis sub district, regency Bantul. The purpose of study was to verify the level of rice produced by the mobile RMU, which was at the present time increasing very fast. The material being used for the study were Fatmawati and Ciherang rice variety and four type of small, medium and large scale of RMU compared with a stationer RMU as the control treatment. A completely randomized design was employed with two factors i.e. variety and type of RMU and the experiment were repeated three times. The variable observes were percentage of hulled rice, percentage of milled rice, the percentage rice break the husk; rendemen rice mill; percentage rice head the; percentage broken rice; percentage item calcify; and densities rice mill.
