Pengaruh penambahan tepung Spirulina (Spirulina platensis)dalam Ransum terhadap Pertambahan Bobot badan dan konversi ransum puyuh (coturnix-coturnix japonica)

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan tepung Spirulina dalam ransum terhadap pertumbuhan bobot badan dan konversi ransum puyuh. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Fapet Farm Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jambi pada tanggal 23 Juli sampai 13 Agustus 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan puyuh berumur 3 minggu sebanyak 200 ekor. Perlakuan yang digunakan adalah penambahan tepung Spirulina (Spirulina platensis) dalam ransum dengan perlakuan penambahan dalam ransum : P0 (0% Spirulina ), P1 (1% Spirulina), P2 (2% Spirulina), dan P3 (3% Spirulina). Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Peubah yang diamati adalah konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan, dan konversi ransum, Apabila perlakuan berpengaruh dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak berganda Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan tepung Spirulina dalam ransum sampai taraf 3% tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi ransum, namun berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap pertambahan bobot badan dan konversi ransum. Hasil uji lanjut Duncan menunjukkan bahwa pertambahan bobot badan pada P3 nyata lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan P0, P1 dan P2 dan konversi ransum P0 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan P1, P2, dan P3. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penambahan tepung spirulina hingga taraf 3% dalam ransum dapat meningkatkan pertambahan bobot badan dan menurunkan konversi ransum. Kata kunci : Spirulina, pertambahan bobot badan, puyuh Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of adding Spirulina flour in quails on body weight growth and quail feed conversion. This research was conducted at Fapet Farm, Faculty of Animal Science, Jambi University on 23 July to 13 August 2020. This study used 200 quail aged 3 weeks. The treatment used was the addition of Spirulina flour (Spirulina platensis) in the ration with the addition of treatment in the ration: P0 (0% Spirulina), P1 (1% Spirulina), P2 (2% Spirulina), and P3 (3% Spirulina). The experimental design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The variables observed were feed consumption, body weight gain, and feed conversion. If the treatment had an effect, it was continued with Duncan's Multiple Range Test. The results showed that the addition of spirulina flour in the ration up to 3% had no significant effect (P> 0.05) on feed consumption, but had a significant effect (P <0.05) on body weight gain and feed conversion. The results of Duncan's continued test showed that the weight gain in P3 was significantly higher than P0, P1 and P2 and the conversion of rations P0 was higher than P1, P2, and P3. It is concluded that the addition of spirulina flour up to 3% into quail ration could increase body weight gain and decrease feed conversion.
