The invention relates to a high-color fastness hydrophilic copolyester master batch and a preparation method thereof. In particular, inorganic nanoparticles with ultraviolet resisting function are introduced into polyester chain segments via a chemical grafting in-situ modification method, so that the uniformity of the ultraviolet resisting particles in the polyester is improved and then the color fastness of the polyester is improved. The preparation method comprises the steps of dispersing inorganic particles in the condition that alcohol is used as a solvent, adding aminopropyl trimethoxy silane in alkali condition to prepare surface functionalized inorganic particles, carrying out the first step of esterification reaction by taking the surface functionalized inorganic particles, terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol as raw materials, adding polyhydric alcohol in the second step of pre-polycondensation to carry out copolycondensation, and carrying out final polycondensation to prepare the high-color fastness hydrophilic copolyester. The prepared polyester has the advantages of good hydrophilic effect and excellent ultraviolet resistance, and can be widely applied to the field of exteriors, clothing, plastics and the like.
