This research aims to investigate whether the executive secretaries of Federal Education Institutions in Recife-PE implement intrapreneurship in their activities based on a strategic thought to achieve institutional objectives, since it is customary to verify in bibliographies in the area of ??Secretariat the evolution of the profession where there is the development of conceptual skills related to entrepreneurship for its performance. It is known that professionals from private companies must be constantly changing to keep up with market competitiveness, however, in the public sphere, the gap of this evolution in the profession still remains. In order to achieve the objective of the research, qualitative exploratory methodology was used from which during the analysis of the data it was verified, in a collaborative way for the category, that the intrapreneurship, despite being exercised by the majority of the interviewees, is still unknown in its concept and purpose, as well as the non-existence of a strategic thought for its use in these public institutions, also contributing as a point to be explored and developed by these professionals for a prosperous professional growth.
