Ground State Constants AK0, DK0, and HK0 of CD3I

Abstract The ground state constants A K 0 , D K 0 , and H K 0 for the CD 3 I molecule have been determined by combining the infrared data obtained from high-resolution spectra of the bands ν 6 , ν 5 + ν 6 − ν 6 , and ν 5 + ν 6 . Using the lines from these bands, ground-state combination differences which differ in K by a value of 3 were calculated. From these different K values, ranging from 0 to 7, the following values have been obtained: A K 0 = 2.5962779(14) cm −1 , D K 0 = 20.773(35) × 10 −6 cm −1 , and H K 0 = 0.38(24) × 10 −9 cm −1 .
