Design and Fabrication of a High Precision Dual-Row Optical Fiber Array

A high-precision dual-row fiber array (FA) is proposed to ensure the positioning accuracy of two rows of optical fibers. The fabricated 2×10-channel FA samples show maximum insertion loss of <1.23dB and worst uniformity of <1.00dB.
