Abstract Endometriosis is one of the most challenging clinical conditions for gynecologists. Associated pain and infertility are often difficult to manage, and current treatment strategies remain limited. This review reviews the current scientific evidence for general gynecologist and provides an overview of current information regarding the treatment of patients with endometriosis-related infertility, offering strong evidence to consider a less invasive approach, and highlights potential hazards of surgery within patients desiring to achieve a pregnancy.
