Formulation of trimetazidine with different release profiles

Solid oral pharmaceutical formulation of multiple layers of trimetazidine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or a polymorph of trimetazidine, characterized in that a layer of said formulation that provides controlled release comprises an agent that provides controlled release that is poly (ethylene oxide) in a phase of external granules, while the other layer provides immediate release.
