Design, Synthesis, and Biological Evaluation of 1,5-Diaryl-1,2,4-triazole Derivatives as Selective Cyclooxygenase-2 Inhibitors.

The results of biological tests show that compound (I) is a potent and selective inhibitor of COX-2 (IC50 = 0.37 μM) being equipotent to celecoxib.
