Synthesis of Sulfenamides Derived from Camphor as “Masked” Chiral Amines

Abstract Asymmetric addition of sulfenimines derived from camphor with organometallic reagents to produce the corresponding sulfenamides has been achieved. The sulfenamides may be hydrolyzed by acid to give chiral primary amines.
