Pulsed mixed n, /spl gamma/ radiation fields for electronic testing

For combined n, /spl gamma/ TREE testing we have modified the CALIBAN Fast Burst Reactor Field with CdO/Epoxy converters to cover the range [10/sup 11/-10/sup 12/] n.cm/sup -2/(1 MeV Si), [10/sup 7/-10/sup 8/] cGy(Si).s/sup -1/. Activation and fission /spl sigma/ /spl Phi/~, 1 MeV(Si) fluences, neutron spectra, total exposures and dose rates were predicted with good agreement by n, /spl gamma/ photon transport codes. >
