Optimal matching scale of gravity reference image

Earth's gravity field has multi-scale features.This article based on the demands of gravity matching aided inertial navigation,researched on the optimal scale analysis of gravity field.The wavelet analysis method was introduced to establish multi-scale model of gravity reference image,and the optimal scale suitable for gravity matching was selected.Then in order to test whether the optimal scale from theoretical calculation was suitable for matching,gravity matching experiments were taken using ICCP and TERCOM algorithm in matching areas.The result quantitatively showed that the optimal scale selection was correct.
