OBSERVATION ON DEVELOPMENT OF BLOOD CELL IN PLECTORHINCHUS CINCTUS

2002
The blood cytology and histology of formation in Plectorhinchus cinctus was studied in this paper. Through the observation on the stained smears of the kidney and spleen, three stages of blood cell development were found, including the primitive stage, the immature stage and the mature stage. Due to the great changes of granular leucocyte in maturation, the immature stage was divided into three stages, i.e. early immature, middle immature and late immature. The flow of parent cells from the hematpopietic organs into the peripheral blood vessels complete the process of maturation. Morphological characters of the blood cells at different stages were described. A preliminary discussion was made on the developmental patterns of blood cells in Plectorhinchus cinctus.
