The invention relates to a wind turbine, in particular to a wind tunnel type double-wheel vertical axis wind turbine. The main structure of the wind turbine comprises a wind tunnel type air inlet (1), a left impeller (2), a right impeller (2'), a gear set and an electric generator (4). The air outlet area of the wind tunnel type air inlet (1) acts on the left impeller (2) and the right impeller (2'), and the left impeller (2) and the right impeller (2') are connected with the electric generator (4) through the gear set; and the wind tunnel type air inlet (1) guides and compresses air into the left impeller (2) and the right impeller (2'), the left impeller (2) and the right impeller (2') are driven to rotate, the gear set is driven to rotate, and therefore the electric generator (4) is driven to generate electricity. Compared with the prior art, the wind turbine has the beneficial effects of being low in starting air wind, high in electricity generation efficiency, low in noise, flexible and changeable in working position and convenient to mount, and can be applied to special occasions such as a building, an automobile and the like, and the application range of the wind power generation is greatly increased.
