Technical and environmental characteristics of the boiler equipment in the city of moscow and ways of improving it

The technical and environmental characteristics are given of the boiler equipment installed in the cogeneration plants and municipal and institutional boiler houses of Moscow, as well as data on the consumption of fuel and nitrogen oxide emissions into the atmosphere by these power- and heat-generating facilities. The use of environmentally clean catalytic boilers to raise the boiler equipment's operating efficiency and reduce its environmental impact is suggested.
