γ-Induced reduction of Eu(III) in aqueous solution

γ-radiation of Co60 has been applied to reduce Eu(III) to Eu(II) in aqueous solutions of the mixture of rare earths. The kinetics of the process has been investigated as a function of the absorbed radiation dose and organic additive concentration.
