A process for producing a magneto-inductive flow meter

2010
A method for producing a magnetic-inductive flowmeter by casting an electrode with liquefied plastic, wherein the electrode is made of an electrically conductive material and having at least a first, perpendicular to a longitudinal extension of the electrode circumferentially circumferential recess, wherein the electrode is positioned in a tool and is at least partially overmoulded with liquefied plastic, wherein the first recess of the electrode is at least partially overmoulded with liquefied plastic and magneto-inductive flowmeter for measuring the volume flow or mass flow of a medium in a pipe with a measuring tube which passes through the medium in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the measuring tube, with a magnet system which is designed in such a way that by releasing a measuring tube, in produces essentially transversely to the longitudinal axis of the measuring tube extending magnetic field, with at least one with the medium coupling measuring electrode which is arranged in a substantially perpendicular to the magnetic field region in a bore in the wall of the measuring tube obtained by such a method.
