Single-Layered Anisotropic Magnetoresistive Sensors with Slanting Stripes for Magnetic-Field and Current Measurements

A new configuration is proposed and evaluated for single-layered anisotropic MR sensors, in which the MR stripes are inclined at a certain angle to the easy magnetic axis. As a consequence, the magnetization vectors of any two adjacent arms of the bridge are antiparalle, which allows us to reduce the dimensions of the sensor considerably.
