2020
Education is a fundamental thing for human beings, especially in both formal and non-formal school. As things have been done by the researchers to break down the problems that arise in the education sector, is no exception in improving the quality of education, especially in Indonesia. This research uses the Quasi-experimental method to identify relationships with some of the variables that are owned. The results shows that both the teacher's motivation and discipline have a real impact on the teacher's performance. It is also shown in this study that variable coefficients of the teacher's motivational variables (X1) with teacher X2 variable variables indicate the directional relationship (liner). This is an indication that in the event of increased quality of achievement motivation and teacher discipline, they will also be followed by improving the quality of the teacher's performance. The correlation between these variables indicates that the performance enhancement of the teacher can be done through the efforts of how to increase the teacher's motivation in achieving. Increased achievement motivation for teachers can be done through various approaches ranging from incentive policies and/or rewards. Reward is defined as providing rewards, awards and/or prizes in order that teachers have the spirit and more active to work according to their profession assignments. Another variable is that discipline also comes down to improving teacher performance. Discipline is the values of obedience, regularity, or psychologically embedded through educational processes both formal and non-formal. These disciplinary values form a personal character in a person that embodies behavior in carrying out the trust.
