Terahertz wave Parametric Amplifier with an Amplification Factor of Two Billion

In this research, we demonstrated a high-gain terahertz(THz) parametric amplifier for an extremely weak THz-wave of low frequency (963 GHz). The amplification factor reached more than 94 dB by dividing the amplifier into two parts: the pre-amplifier and the main-amplifier.
