The invention discloses a method for controlling the parallel redundancy of an MVB master. According to the method, two identical VCM modules are used as bus master modules, and the two VCM modules are connected into a network system simultaneously and monitor the state of an MVB simultaneously; under the condition that a master module on the MVB has a failure or is lost, a standby main module conducts redundancy switch, becomes a bus master and takes over the MVB. The method for controlling the parallel redundancy of the MVB master has the advantages that the principle is simple, and the reliability and the usability of the whole network system can be improved.
