The triton binding energy with Kukulin's NN potential☆

Abstract Kukulin's NN potential, which is inspired by the quark model and produces a short-distance node in the NN wave function, is tested in a triton bound state calculation. The potential underbinds the triton by ∼ 4 MeV.
