ИЗУЧЕНИЕ ФИТОНЕЙСТОНА ЧЕРНОГО МОРЯ

1990
Species variability and spatial distribution of phytoplankton in the 200 µm thick surface microlayer (200 µm thick) and neustal (5 cm) of the Black Sea in April-May 1984 are described. It is shown that an increase in the microphyte amount (up to 7 times of the number and biomass) in the surface microlayer has been most frequently observed in central regions of the sea where the quantitative development of phytoplankton was insignificant. In the zone of water „bloom" near the Bulgarian coast microphytes (up to 6 times of the number and 5 — of biomass) concentrated in the neustal. Causes that induced appearance of microphyte accumulations in the surface microlayer are discussed as compared with the neustal.
