Karaciğerin Okült Alveoler Hidatik Kisti: Çok Erken Yakalanan Alveoler Hidatik Kist Olgusu

Alveolar hydatid cyst of the liver, clinically and radiologicly, imitates cancer-like hepatic mass. A 54 year old man was incidentally diagnosed as having hydatid cyst at very early phase when the cyst's diameter was about 1.5 cm and successfully treated with surgery. Diagnosis was confirmed with morphological examination by the pathologist. Post-operative adjunct medical therapy was administered. Apparent cure is obtained and no recurrence is developed, in long term follow-up.
