Magnetic vacancies; simulations and experiments with19F inFe 1−xAlx

Fe−xAlx alloys with x<4.2 at % have been studied by the TDPAD method utilizing19F as a probe. A Monte Carlo simulation of the dipolar distribution, due to the missing Fe moments, agrees well with the experimental results.
