Fast Cooperative Target Assignment for UAV Formation under Timing Constraints

The efficiency of the cooperative assignment and the timing of targets attack are key technologies of the cooperative target assignment for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs).A novel fast cooperative target assignment for UAV formation under timing constraints was proposed.Under the frame of the Satisficing Decision Theory(SDT) for fast assignment,the realization method for the timing of targets attack was discussed with emphasis,the judgment condition on whether timing constraints was met and two evaluation indices on the satisfaction degree of the timing constraints were constructed and introduced into the model.It not only achieved the timing requirements,but also reflected the link between the attack timing and the effectiveness of the cooperative formation.Simulation results indicate that the method could complete the fast target assignment for UAV formation under timing constraints.
