Dielectric behaviour of homogeneous PZT ceramics prepared from spray dried powders

Abstract Effect of temperature and frequency on dielectric properties of different compositions of Pb(Zr x Ti 1−x )O 3 ceramics prepared from spray dried powders has been studied. The transition between ferroelectric to paraelectric phase in each composition shows a sharp peak which does not shift with the change in frequency at least upto 10 KHz and variation of dielectric constant with temperature follows the Curie-Weiss law. Since the materials possess compositional and structural homogeneities, the dielectric characteristics exhibited by them are considered to be intrinsic.
