REDE DE VIGILÂNCIA NO MONITORAMENTO DA COVID-19 NA BAHIA, BRASIL, 2020

2021
The fragmentation of health care shows the need for a Network that organizes health care points, providing continuous and comprehensive assistance. Considering the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic scenario, a service network in the state of Bahia counts with 18 Covid-19 Emergency Care Units, 55 Covid-19 Reference Units, 06 Rear Units and 70 24-hour Emergency Care Units (UPA-24 hours). From February 28 to October 20, there are 1.101.806 cases reported, 337.994 confirmed, 3.809 being validated by the municipality. Given this scenario, this study evaluates the surveillance network for monitoring Covid-19 in Bahia. It is an evaluative study of the normative appreciation type. A logical model and a judgment matrix adapted by the Guide for coping with the Covid-19 pandemic in the Health Care Network and other technical notes and presentation of the response flow to the notification were developed. Faced with the new coronavirus pandemic, there is a need for greater integration between the state health care and surveillance network. Thus, the Center for Strategic Information in Health Surveillance (CIEVS-BA) is configured as a powerful network for strengthening strategies to combat the pandemic in the State.
