Method and system for mobility management of sensor network node

The invention provides a method and a system for mobility management of a sensor network node. When a network gateway related to the network of the sensor detects that the a sensor node is shifted, a position updating request is sent to a control device at a network side; when the control device updates the information of sensor node corresponding to the network gateway accessed the network, a position upgrading confirmation message is sent to the network gateway to implement position updating according to the confirmation message from the control device, as well as upgrading a mapping relation between the addressable information in the sensor network corresponding to the sensor node and the addressable information in the access network. The technical proposal of the invention focuses on the technical limitation on the sensor network and the node thereof, and the network side performs mobile position upgrading to the sensor network node, and therefore desirable expansibility and easy implementation can be achieved.
