A Nonstationary Method and Experimental Equipment for Measuring the Thermal Conductivity of Heat Insulators

2005
A method of measuring the thermal conductivity of solid heat-insulating materials based on the integral form of Fourier's equation, obtained by an integro-interpolation method is described. The theoretical basis for the calculation formula of the method, the results of investigations of the formula using a thermal model, the circuit of a device which realizes the theoretical formula, and the accuracy and time characteristics of the proposed method are presented.
