Investigation on curing reaction of phthalonitrile resin with nanosilica and the properties of their glass fiber‐reinforced composites

A kind of high performance thermosetting resin phthalonitrile containing benzoxazine mixed with cyanate ester were prepared and investigated. The resin mixed with nano‐SiO2 particles and their glass fiber reinforced composites were also prepared. The matrix resin exhibited a wide processing window (90‐200 oC) and their glass fiber reinforced composites possessed the Tg of 314 oC.
